What is Sauna Creator?
Sauna Creator is a free web-based sauna planning tool. It generates a live 3D model of your sauna, calculates structural dimensions, produces a material takeoff with cut lists, and provides baseline safety guidance rooted in Swedish building standards (BBR).
How it works
- Choose a sauna shape — rectangular, barrel, or two-room.
- Set dimensions, heating type, openings, and site conditions.
- Review the auto-generated material list, price estimate, and build plan.
- Export a PDF or share your design with a link.
Who is behind this?
Sauna Creator is an independent project built by a small team passionate about making sauna planning accessible. The tool grew out of a personal need: planning a backyard sauna without expensive consulting or CAD software.
